Optional call answering

When you can’t get to the phone.

A call might be a new booking, a change of plan or someone who needs help. Discuss how reception support could fit around your clinic and your own team.

A person on the line

Human reception support

Discuss having reception personnel handle agreed administrative tasks on your clinic’s behalf.

  • Appointment bookings and changes within your rules
  • Messages passed to the right person
  • Clear instructions for questions that need your team

Agree coverage, availability and the information reception staff can access before the service starts.

A separate option

AI call handling

Explore automated handling for supported administrative calls. Confirm the current capabilities and availability in a demo.

  • Defined booking and information tasks
  • A clear introduction that explains the caller is speaking to AI
  • A route to a person when the call needs human attention

AI can make mistakes. Set boundaries, review how it performs and agree a human handover. It should not be used to provide clinical advice.

Start with your instructions.

We need to understand what can be booked, how long each appointment takes and what information can be shared. Decide which calls should go directly to the clinic and who will pick up messages.

Opening hours, overflow arrangements, languages, call recording and charges should be confirmed for your chosen service. Neither option is an emergency service.

Keep your own way of working.

Call answering is optional. You can use the practice software while continuing to answer your own calls. If you do want support, ask to walk through a typical call and a handover before deciding.
